Why we currently only accept bank transfers

In the research peptide industry, payment processing is one of the most misunderstood parts of a legitimate business operation.

Many online stores opt for fast payment methods like credit cards or online payment providers. What customers often fail to realize is that these methods in our industry are almost always inconsistent with regulations, compliance guidelines, and the risk frameworks of financial institutions .

At Peptidera we consciously choose a different approach:
fully transparent, legally correct and future-proof.

Why we only accept bank transfers

Peptidera sells research peptides intended exclusively for scientific research . This product category falls within an increased risk profile for:

  • Banks

  • Payment providers

  • Acquirers

  • AML/KYC supervisors

Nearly all major payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Adyen and similar parties) classify research peptides as:

  • High risk

  • Highly regulated

  • Not intended for human use

  • Prone to misclassification

This makes card processing legally and contractually prohibited unless a company uses incorrect categories or withholds information.

We don't do that.

What many online stores do wrong (and why we don't)

In practice, we see that many peptide webshops still offer card payments by:

  • ❌ To register under an incorrect business activity

  • ❌ Products are deliberately described vaguely

  • ❌ To have payments processed through third parties

  • ❌ Use offshore payment structures

  • ❌ Temporarily circumvent risk rules

This often works temporarily .

What happens next:

  • Accounts are suddenly closed

  • Funds are frozen for months

  • Customers are losing confidence

  • Companies disappear or restart under a different name

Peptidera refuses to work this way.

Our legal and compliance choice

We consciously choose the legally correct path , even if it is less simple.

That means:

✔ Correct company classification
✔ Transparent product descriptions
✔ No claims for human use
✔ Full compliance with EU guidelines
✔ Traceability and documentation
✔ No hidden payment structures

As we operate entirely within these frameworks, bank transfer is currently the only permitted payment method .

Why bank transfers are actually transparent

A bank transfer means:

  • Direct payment from customer to company account

  • No hidden intermediaries

  • Full traceability

  • Full compliance with financial regulations

This is not a limitation , but a conscious choice for legitimacy and stability.

Cost advantage for our customers

Because we don't pay card processing fees (which are often 3–5% per transaction):

  • We save operational costs

  • Do we avoid risk premiums?

  • Do we keep the corporate structure clean?

We pass this advantage directly on to our customers through competitive prices and transparent conditions.

Will we add other payment methods in the future?

Yes — as soon as this is legally and contractually permitted .

We are actively in discussions with:

  • EU-recognized financial institutions

  • Compliance specialists

  • Risk managers

  • Payment providers specializing in regulated product categories

As soon as legal card processing for research peptides is possible without concessions , we will implement it immediately.

Until then, we don't take any shortcuts .
