FAQ

1. What are research peptides? Research peptides are synthetically produced chains of amino acids used in scientific and laboratory research. They are studied to better understand how biological processes work at a cellular level. Peptidera exclusively sells peptides intended for research purposes — not for human use.

2. Is it legal to buy peptides in the Netherlands? The peptides we sell have been legally reviewed by us and are offered as research chemicals in accordance with current Dutch regulations. They are not on the Opium Act lists and are not registered as medicines. Sale is legally permitted provided the compounds are explicitly not offered for human consumption. By ordering, you confirm that you will use the products exclusively for scientific research.

3. What does COA mean and why is it important? COA stands for Certificate of Analysis — a document that confirms the purity and molecular identity of a product per production batch. At Peptidera, each batch is externally tested by an independent laboratory using HPLC analysis and mass spectrometry. The COA is publicly available per batch number on our website, without needing to log in or make a purchase.

4. How are your products tested? Each product is analyzed by an independent external laboratory before sale. Purity is confirmed via HPLC analysis (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and molecular identity via mass spectrometry. In addition, products are tested for endotoxins using the LAL method. The results are available per batch number in our COA library.

5. How are the products shipped and is quality guaranteed? We ship all peptides from Dutch stock in cool packaging with cooling elements. The cold chain is monitored from our warehouse to your door. Orders placed before 14:00 will be shipped the same business day. Delivery time within the Netherlands is 1 to 2 business days. Packaging is discreet — without any brand indication on the outside.

6. How do I store research peptides correctly? Unreconstituted peptides (not yet dissolved in liquid) should be stored at −20°C for long-term storage, or at 2–8°C for use within four weeks. After reconstitution, store the product at 2–8°C and use it within 14 to 28 days, depending on the product. Always protect from light, moisture, and repeated freezing and thawing. Specific storage instructions per product can be found on the relevant product page.

7. Can I return a product? Due to the nature of research chemicals and storage requirements (cold chain), we do not accept returns on products that have left the freezer or refrigeration. Did you receive a damaged, incorrect, or incomplete package? Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@peptidera.com so we can resolve this.

8. What payment methods do you accept? We accept bank transfers and cryptocurrency. We do not accept credit card payments. After your order, you will receive a confirmation with payment instructions. Orders are processed once payment is received.

9. Who are these products intended for? Our products are exclusively intended for researchers, scientific institutions, and professionals working within applicable laws and regulations. You must be at least 18 years old. By placing an order, you confirm that you will use the products exclusively for scientific research and agree to our terms of use.

10. Can I ask for advice on which peptide is suitable for my research? We are happy to answer questions about the scientific background of our compounds, available literature, or our COA documentation. What we do not do is advise on use, dosage, or application — that falls outside our scope as a supplier of research chemicals. For scientific questions, please contact us at info@peptidera.com.
